WHAT TO EXPECT
ABOUT THE TREATMENT
Traditional Thai Massage is performed on a floor mat, with the client fully clothed.
A combination of acupressure, massage and deep stretching is done without the use of oils or creams.
Please do not receive Thai Massage when you are sick, feel weak, are very hungry or right after a heavy meal. Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes prior to your start time.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
Please bring, or arrive in, loose comfortable cotton clothing that allows for movement. Also, I would ask that you refrain from wearing heavy/strong aftershave, perfume or colognes.
FIRST TIME CLIENTS
First time clients are asked to arrive 20 minutes prior to the appointment.
This allows you time to complete the health/history intake form, to meet your therapist and to use the restroom to ensure your session starts on time. Otherwise, for all other appointments, I ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your session start time.

AFTER THE MASSAGE
It is not uncommon to experience muscle soreness a day or two after your massage. This soreness, similar to what many people feel after strenuous activity, is due to the natural release of accumulated waste into your system during your treatment. It is recommended that you follow the after treatment care to help reduce or eliminate any discomfort.
RECOMMENDED AFTER TREATMENT CARE
After your massage session, please re-hydrate by drinking lots of water; it helps to flush the released toxins from your body.
As well, soaking in a warm bath with Epsom or mineral salts will assist in minimizing any soreness. |
